The number of fixed radars in Spain has been increasing year after year, with the aim of reducing road accidents. According to the DGT, there are currently More than 2,000 fixed radars spread throughout the country, to which are added mobile radars, section radars and Pegasus helicopters.
These devices are primarily found on highways and national roads with the highest traffic volume, although they are increasingly common on secondary roads, where the highest number of accidents occur.
